Join us for cruising or canoeing over the smooth, emerald-green waters of Piva Lake. Paddling in silence, far from the crowds, you will see some of the most spectacular natural sites Piva Lake has to offer. 

11.00h Choose an activity according to your mood and start your tranquil day with a welcome drink in the Restaurant Jezero, at the bank of Piva Lake in Pluzine.

Walk down to the Lake, take your canoe, grab a map, and start paddling. Picture yourself paddling across a vast and stunning lake, with not a soul in sight. The scenery is dramatic and the views of the Piva River Canyon and the remaining details of the sunken Canyon of the Piva River are thoroughly amazing. When you get hungry and tired, just enter Restaurant Lake and order your favorite meal. Our local host we’ll make the most to indulge you.

The Piva Lake was formed by the construction of the Piva hydroelectric plant in 1975 (240 m high). It is 45 kilometers long and up to 200 meters deep. The elevation is 675 m from sea level, making it the most elevated artificial reservoir in the world.  Older people say that Piva Canyon was even more beautiful, more attractive, and more mysterious than Tara canyon. The water temperature in summer is around 22°C and it is a real paradise for recreation and sports activities. 

All programs include 2 hours of the chosen activity and lunch at a total cost of 55€ per person.
